Cheap quality but does the job
I used this to detect automotive leaks for wind and water. From what I have used it was fine, but the ultra sonic pick up was only good for about 15 ft. I’m going to try better batteries and see if it does better.

You get what you pay for
I rely on reviews when buying on Amazon so I had to take time to make this one. This thing is Junk. I needed one to find freon leaks and this did not work. I spent the big money on another brand and it was worth it!!!

Pratice with tool before using it in the field
HVAC great tool to find leaking gaskets on walk in coolers and freezer. Air leaks in big duct work

Works great, bought it for an inexpensive tool to find air leaks on my semi. Very pleased with the results.

good with transmitter, useless to find other leaks
I tested a refurbished radiator, using the transmitter and works fine so confirm with tubes still have leaks.Used the detector to try to find a water leak at home, the leak was pretty significant, about 800 gallons per day!!!!, the detector was useless to find it.

It didn’t work for me but it but might for you
I guess in may work in certain circumstances but it did not work for me. I cant’t give it a single star or five.
