Utilitech 1000-Lumen LED Handheld Battery Flashlight

Man this thing is bright. Use it for hunting to retrieve game in the dark.

This is the best flashlight I have ever owned. It is super bright and the batteries last a long time. There are 3 modes, bright, less bright and blinking. We use this for photographic light painting and it really illuminates a scene well.The only reason I deducted a star is the switch. It is elevated and the flashlight tends to be turned on by the simplest touch. It would be 5 stars if the on-off button were recessed or if there was a guard around the switch so it wouldn't be turned on by accident. (I glued a round rubber washer around the switch which keeps it from being activated so easily).

Eats up batteries and bulb died within 6 months

I love the flashlight, brightness is awesome (do not really need the flashing light feature that you must enable before you can turn it off). However, the Utilitech batteries do leak and corrode. I would, for that reason, discard the original batteries and buy your own to put in it. I have only used the light a handful of times, but in trying to open the battery compartment, had to use a vice and wrench due to the corrosion inside. Had it not been for this problem, would have rated it as a 5 star (it does take 9 AA batteries).

This flashlight is amazing. Very well made. Very pleased with my purchase.

Don NOT use batteries supplied with Flashlight.!! They leak, corrode, and destroy the Flashlight.!!Buy Duracell Batteries instead.

This thing rocks, would like to see switch resesed below handle as it turns on by itself a lot
