Model Painter Brush Set for Wargaming, Airfix, Foundry, Army Painter, Warhammer, Model Painting, with Synthetic Rounds.

So far so good. I inspected each brush to make sure the ferrules were firmly secure to the handles. Before painting with them I immediately washed and conditioned each brush using The Masters Brush Cleaner and Preserver. Good set of brushes for the price. They coincidentally look like and are sized GW's brushes which works well for me. I would recommend these to any beginner not wanting to pay over $70 for the GW set, but doesn't want to settle for a cheap set of brushes from the hobby store. These are a good compromise.

I love these brushes, and for the price, they can't be beat. I personally prefer these over the pricier Citadel brushes; the hairs don't pull out like cheap brushes, they keep their shape well after heavy use, and you get almost all the brushes you need in one set! As with all brushes, you will want to wash your brushes regularly with mild soap to prevent staining & hardening of the bristles.

It's a good set of brushes but I've found that the base coat brush was losing its bristles after only a handful of uses. The other brushes are holding up well after almost a year of use.Update: I purchased this item a second time and found that the "standard" brush has a couple of hairs which stick out and make this brush almost unusable. Now, because I found defective brushes in both of the sets I ordered, I am reducing this product's star rating from 3 to 2 stars.For what I've spent, I could have purchased quality brushes elsewhere.

The brushes are good, but for the price you can get much better. The synthetic bristles hold a point nicely but does not hold much paint. Some of the bristles are very stiff and occasionally leave brush marks. Overall if you are a serious painter go elsewhere.

Excellent quality. They far exceeded my expectations. I paint a lot of minis, and these brushes are great. I would recommend picking up another set, such as the "Modelmakers Miniature Set of 7 Ultra Fine Detail Brushes", if you're going to be working with very fine details, but this set comes with a wide variety of brushes, that are built to last.

I've used these to paint 2 D&D mini's and finish up 2 others. I'm impressed with the performance and fine detail I'm able to obtain with them. I am using the masters brush cleaner to maintain properly. From the results so far I would buy again and do recommend buying to others. Will update again in a few weeks when I see how the brushes hold up.

Terrible set. If you like painting miniatures, don't buy it, the finest detail brushes are really bad. My teacher got frustrated after about 10 minutes of trying to help me paint with them then gave me one of her own sable detail brushes as a present. I have been using it for a year already. Bottom line, buy sable brushes, or at least good quality detail brushes. This set however, is not worth your money and time

The tips curl extremely fast. 2 of the smaller brushes had messed up tips and were unusable.
