My 3 boys absolutely love this book!!! My recommendation would be to buy the book and order the 1000 count individual color bags from perler. The ore patterns use a lot of grey and dark grey.

Any Minecraft and Perler bead lover should get this book ASAP. The pages are full of beautiful, full-page color designs of any item and character from Minecraft that you can think of.I purchased a four pack of clear Perler bead square templates to go with this book, and my son has been on a non-stop creating streak making designs for friends.

I rated this book two stars for a few reasons. The binding is cheap, as it's just a bunch of pages glued together. When I opened it the first thing I noticed was the bottom inside corner of the first page was pulled away from the inner glue strip and folded over. I had planned to just fold it back into the book and reglue it, since I bought for my son's birthday party in a couple weeks. But doing that further damaged the book. I realized the corner wouldn't fit anyway because it's not even the right shape our size to fit there. I think there was an issue with the machine that cut the paper and the quality inspector must have took the day off. I can't return the item because my attempt to fix it just ruined it more. Overall, the patterns in the book are pretty cool. But I could have easily found most of them for free online, printed them off, glued them together, and still have the same quality item. Maybe I just got a dud. But I will reconsider buying one of these books in the future. For now, I guess I will just swallow my loss.

My 3 boys have loved making beads with this pattern book because they play Minecraft. Their only complaint is the patterns require many different bead colors we couldn't find, like 3 shades of gray and 4 or 5 different greens.

Great to get you started, but pay attention to the size of the items before beginning. I ran out of room previously because I didn't pay attention to this, thinking the designs were all set for one standard board.

Very detailed book, my step son loves minecraft and I got him hook on perler beads.

My kids and their friends use this book ALL THE TIME! There is a ton of different things they can make from this book. Very happy customer
