I tried Sabre Red at first, and I had no issue with it. John Correia of Active Self Protection recommended POM, so I switched. I didn't realize, at first, the potential problem with the rotating safety switch on the Sabre Red canister, but I later realized how easy it might be to accidentally twist it inside my pocket. Not a chance with the POM unit! I love everything about it, and I recommend it to all of my clients and friends.

I purchased this based on a review from a YT channel called Active Self Protection. The canister appears to be of heavy construction and although I have not personally tested it I do have confidence in it.

I like the packaging. I felt secure that I wasn’t going to accidentally spray myself. I just put it in my purse and feel safe knowing it’s there if I ever need it. I hope I never do.

I bought this because the area I was working in at the time was super shady, especially for an easy to grab gal like myself. As scary as it sounds, it's sadly true. I got this pepper spray in a black can with a yellow band to match my lanyard. I did a spray test at work, and the stream is great. It lingered in the air for a bit which I wasn't expecting so I accidently inhaled the fumes which HURT. I have no doubt that this will help in protecting me when and if I need it. It fits and feels nice in my hand which is a major plus. I will definitely order again!
