I saw some of the Crate Collective Pakkawood utensils in a store while on vacation. The store did not have any utensils that I needed, but when I checked Amazon, I found this salad serving set. I loved the colors which is what initially attracted me to the brand. Since I did want a nice salad serving set, I decided to try them out. They work great for salads and are as beautiful in person and I have received numerous compliments on them. I hand wash them immediately after use and never let them soak in the dishwater. So far the colors are as brilliant today as the day I got them.

Love this utensil set, I also own a few more untensils from this set previously at a store. The only down side was that one of the spoons chipped and we had to glue it back and another one had a small rough patch on the handle. We just lightly sanded it down to prevent any future splinters. Great for cooking, and beautiful on display!

These are beautiful & will make great gifts for our daughters-in-laws. The price seems very reasonable for the time it took to craft them.

Yes, these are really cool-looking utensils. But there are other reasons why this set makes a great investment. My Wife was sold on how they looked. I was sold once I realized that they were pakkawood. I've got some kitchen knives with pakkawood handles. So I already knew about the benefits of the material. It only seemed natural someone would use them for kitchen utensils. Because they're really durable, for one. They're highly resistant to heat, which is perfect for cooking. They're resistant to water, and to stains. Now if those benefits weren't enough (especially for utensils not made from some weird plastics), pakkawood is waaaaay gentler on nonstick cookware than many other types of big cooking utensils.So these are definitely worth ordering. The visual really makes a statement, guests will definitely ask where you bought them from. The style and colors are hip. But I'm still happy about the fact that they do everything other utensils will, only you know they're more natural. Get a set for yourself, would also make a thoughtful and unique gift for someone else.

These are very beautiful salad tongs and forks. The pattern is stunning. I love the way the forks are curved on one side and the fork is on the other. It is unique and makes for easy dishing up. I like the bag it came in. It would make for a good hostess gift or housewarming gift.*One thing to note: these are manufactured in China.
