Tie Fighter Star Wars Vinyl Decal for Macbook

It didn't fit my 13" MacBook by applying it the standard way. But I just cut each wing and the cockpit out and applied separately. Pretty simple; looks slick.Update: I've put this same decal on 3 different MacBooks now. I keep thinking "I should get something else this time, but I really like this one. None of the other Star Wars decals I've seen make use of the Apple logo so cleverly. As I mentioned before - it won't look good just sticking it on there. Cut the 3 pieces, arrange it how you like, and you can make it look great.

some of the thinner parts of the decal didn't stay down when peeling the transfer tape. had to pick the right spot to start from. I ended up look pretty cool and for $5 no big. I put it on a case which could be why the vinyl didn't stick as completely on the first peel attempt. The reviews saying it didn't line up probably didn't consider cutting the vinyl into three sections to place each part. It is on the directions I received though they might not have always sent directions. Low risk, high reward for any Star Wars fan. Empire did nothing wrong.

I love this! Everywhere I go I get comments on this decal. It went on with no problems, however, I did take the advice of another reviewer and cut it in three pieces before applying it to my 15" Macbook Pro. I use the laptop everyday and it's not showing any signs of pealing after being on there for several months.

The sticker seemed of reasonable quality, my issue was around lining the parts up as shown.In order to get the "window" on the apple part, the wing on the right would not have closed out the apple as shown. If I shifted the sticker over to line up the right wing, the "window" of the tie fighter would have been half off the apple logo.Re-aligning the sticker would fix this issue, unsure why they sell this sticker not lined up. I have a '13 MacBook Pro with Retina display, maybe it was intended for larger Mac's.

I had to buy a second one after messing up the first. Pro tip: cut a whole in the vinyl back piece to line everything up. But all in all it looks pretty good and I am pretty happy

Easy to put on my ultrabook (had to follow the instructions, but there was nothing difficult about it). Got it on, looks great, super pleased!

1) sticker came with no instructions2) when trying to place over apple logo, the sticker was not sized correctly so I had to cut out a part of the sticker to make it look like it was going to fit properly3) once I tried to apply, the sticker backing did not peel off cleanly and sticker was ruinedwhat seemed like a cool idea turned out to be poorly executed and of bad quality.extremely disappointed
