So let me set the scene....We recently moved on to a new estate that seemed so perfect at first, that was until we installed our night vision cameras which showed us a horrible sight.This was someone being able to get in to not only my car, but my partners and many others on the estate despite them being locked. Initially I thought I'd been stupid enough to leave it unlocked until I double and triple checked before I went to bed the next night and the same thing happened again, now these people weren't trying to steal the cars just some of the possessions from inside.So I did a bit of research and it turns out that some cars that have keyless entry the signal can be amplified using a device to trick your car in to thinking the key is close by and unlock the doors/start the engine, now this horrified me that someone could do this, so I quickly checked what I could do to prevent this and quickly found these kind of pouches/wallets worked, I was a bit dubious but thought I'd give it a try, and lo and behold it worked an absolute treat, the guy that tried to get in to our car again found quite quickly it didn't work and my camera now made an alarm sound when someone entered into it's field of vision late at night so we were able to secure our belongings and scare him off too!

Look and feel well made. There are 2 sections inside the pouch and you need to make sure that you put the keys, phone or whatever it to have it's signal blocked in the correct section.My Volvo wouldn't unlock when the keys were inside the pouch and the key wasn't detected even when sitting inside the car, so it wouldn't start either.The liner appears to be double up, so maybe this is why it is more effective than other methods I've tried. Also hopefully this means it will last longer as well.

I put a mobile phone in following the manufacturer's instructions and it was uncontactable for calls. It did not show a missed call. It was not visible via bluetooth either. The Faraday cage clearly blocks any electronic or radio communication. Using messaging services such as whatsapp does not work whilst the phone is in the cage but the message is waiting when the phone is removed from the bag. This test shows that cards, keys and so on are well isolated. The bag could be used without the cage for carrying the phone so it protects it as well when not wishing to physically use it. A 5.2 inch phone with a protective case fits in easily but it is not over large and keys, cards etc can be just as well protected. Since you get 2 pouches for your money this is a pretty good deal; you can use both at the same time or keep one as a spare.The product appears well made and looks good. Because this review is of a new product I cannot comment on durability which is very important for something which is security orientated. Perhaps it would be a good idea to check from time to time that it is still effective by putting a phone in it and then trying to call it.Overall I am very impressed initially.

Bought to protect new car, utterly useless, tried both keys in both pouches and every time I could open the car and start it, unable to trust protecting a 30 grand car with these.The Faraday box I have works so it's not the keys or car, returned for refund.

I have read mixed reviews on this type of pouch. but these work really well, the large pouch easily takes my fob with a full bunch of keys, I held it against the car surface and it still didn't open the car, but make sure the pouch is securely closed as when you open the flap they no longer work, but when used properly great product , thanks

Like the size - fits a bunch of keys including my Renault key card. Works well - car usually starts when keys are in the car but it doesn’t start when keys are in the case indide the car so signal blocker really good. There’s two sections inside - you need to be careful to put it in the correct section.

Got this following news of recent car thefts around my area.My car keys only need to be inside the car, in order to start and drive.So to test the pouch I got in to the car and I put the key inside the pouch and try to start, which showed the warning light saying key is not inside the car.Also, the pouch is really extra large, can easily fit my Samsung S8 in both inner and outer pockets. When in the inner pocket, all calls were going to voicemail. So it works!

I was pleased to start with, we visited our local town today and put the keys as usual inside the correct side, and our key unlocked the car inside the blocker case.Now I will have to re purchase a different brand, very disappointed that I was not advised that his could happen.
