I am livid over this product. This listing is for a lightning/ audio splitter, right? That's basically a 2018 need. So tell me why this listing has reviews dated back to 2014... I'll tell you why! Because the seller is a scam artist that changed a listing for a different product that was decent, to reflect this P.O.S. so that it would appear to have great reviews and they could sell more of them. Well, thanks a lot for destroying my faith in 3rd party sellers because this junk ruined an important work project that I now have to salvage because the splitter failed. DO NOT BUY!!!!The only reason that I am giving 1 star is because you cant give zero!!!

Be careful when you search in Amazon. I wanted a lighting splitter that worked with 3.5mm Male Aux Stereo Audio Cable. well as I was going through products I cam to this one. didn't realize until I received it, it was a lighting port splitter. Works awesome with headset and charger (if it doesn't work turn charging cable around). I decided to just order lightning port to 3.5 MM Aux cord to make it work. Just got the MiCar 3.5mm Male Aux Stereo Audio Cable and it won't go all the way in. Music will not play using these two devices together. If you need it to charge and use the headset that comes with your iPhone it's a great product. For me, it won't even work as a paperweight. Guess I'll need to make sure I charge my phone and use the MICar 3.5 Lighting to Aux cord.

***EDIT***I’ve had this for about a month now & it worked perfectly. Recently it only works half the time, & it’s getting to the point where it doesn’t work at all. I have to flip it 100s of times before it works. These past 2 days it hasn’t worked at all.I was excited to upgrade to the iPhone X but I wasn’t excited to lose the ability to charge my phone & use my headphones. I figured I’d buy one of these off amazon, no big deal. But there were so many scams & splitters with fake reviews. I was scared to buy this but I’m glad I did. It did say “accessory not supported” when I plugged in my headphones to the splitter, but it still worked fine. I’m really happy with this purchase 😊

i have a new iphone x and when i plug this into my phone, the charger isnt recognized. when i take it out the charger charges no problem. the headphones dont work when i plug them in through this either. and then when i try to return its not eligible for returns. thank god it was only $4.66 but it was a complete waste of time and money and caused an awkward moment at work when i plugged my headphones in and Cardi B started blaring in the office at full volume, not through the headphones.

Seemed like the perfect accessory, but it does not provide consistent power to the phone, nor a reliable audio signal to the headphones. If quietly watching something with headphones, the sound will randomly switch to the phone speakers and then back. It can be quite disruptive and surprising. To troubleshoot, our same headphones and power cable work fine when plugged directly into the phone. Also, I just noticed that this item isn’t eligible for return through Amazon, so be aware of that before trying this out.

THIS ONLY WORKS WITH THE HEADPHONES THAT HAVE THE LIGHTNING CORD. Due to the poor wording on the item description I didn't realize this. I was looking for an adapter that would allow me to use my regular (comfortable) headphones instead of iPhone's standard headphones. Company does NOT offer refunds.

This product has one job...to allow simultaneous use of a charging cable and a pair of headphones with your iPhone. I have an iPhone 7Plus and used a standard set of headphones and charging cable (the OEM variety that came with the phone). The first few times I used this splitter, it worked as it should, but after about the first week, it would only work about one out of 3 times that I tried it (the other times, sound would play as if there were no headphones plugged in). If I can't count on something to work every time I use it, I consider it a FAIL!

It does not work for aux cord!!! And I can’t return it!!! Not fair.
