So happy with my ps2!
I don't usually write reviews however, I had to after i got my ps2 and it was in perfect condition. I seen so many mixed reviews so I thought i'd share my experience in case anyone else was thinking of getting one. I couldn't be happier.

Two units, none worked.
Ordered this refurb unit and the first one arrived and did not work. The disc drive made disturbing noises that sounded like it was about to break apart. After several attempts, it would eventually (and slowly) read the disc. Once it did, it would not play all the audio tracks on the game. When trying to start the game, it would stay at the loading screen (left it for 5 minutes and no progress). Also the protective sleeve on the controller cable arrived torn.Did the return process through Amazon and got a second unit to replace the first. Second unit did the same thing. Do not order these units from Amazon. There is clearly no kind of testing to see if these things work properly. I would give no stars if possible but at least the return/refund process with Amazon is easy so this one star is ok I guess.

Needed a new ps2 since the one I had for years originally sadly died,found this sold by CaveGamers,came in excellent condition and very happy with the purchase

It works pretty good and it runs PlayStation 1 and 2 Disc. 10/10

Reset button
Works great the only issue is the reset button doesn’t work so you have to shut it off after your done playing with the power switch on the back of the PlayStation 2

Terrible condition
Horrible horrible condition. I purchased one last week and it would open and then immediately close. Would not read any of the games. Called and got a replacement and the replacement disc tray will not open at all. I purchased this one specifically because it was the same one my dad had and because it said it was in excellent condition. The condition is not excellent. The controllers are also poor quality and cheaply made.
