A Functional Language Approach to Multimodality
Strong foundation in SFL and Halliday's theory of langauge. Very useful tables organizing how different modes communicate meaning. Amazing chapters 6 & 10.

Only 4 chapters out of 16 in this book
This is not the full text. The table of contents lists 16 chapters with 545 pages but this book only has 89 pages and is missing the majority of the original book. Do not buy this book if you are looking for the entire text. The first edition is cheaper and has the full text. I will be returning this.Update: Amazon charges a $10 restocking fee to return this book. Such a poor way of doing business especially when this book is faulty and missing 90% of its contents. If you want to purchase it, its available directly from Cambridges website in its entirety for the same price.

Its a textbook. Of course it sucks.
Its basically a bunch of academic windbag crap that you are forced to use despite it having no practical value. The usual crap that colleges foist upon people.
