This is a reasonably well made, smart looking spring loaded item. Its cord and spring survived until I snapped the cord when my card caught in a seat belt as I left a car; you have to expect that sort of accident with something you wear a lot of the time. The spring clip design is very easy to snap onto a belt loop on trousers; much better than the rather awkward clip-over clips that some of these sorts of devices have. It is recommended for maximum convenience in use, as it is also easy to un-clip when removing it.The mechanism includes a spring coil that retracts the fine string to which you attach the name badge holder (not included). This is the sort of item that does not last forever, so buy more than one; you'll be addicted to it and when you snap the cord you'll not want to do without it for a day. At this price, it would be unreasonable to expect it to last for ever, anyway. It is a very useful simple item for carrying round a name badge at work.

I work in a financial institution and security is very much at the front of everyone's minds - consequently, we're constantly having to swipe in and out of doors to move between rooms. The standard neck lanyard very quickly became troublesome, and I came online searching out a 'Yo Yo' reel to help make life easier.Arrived nice and quickly (I paid for first class delivery) and actually is a really great little product for the price that you pay (at this price point, I have to admit that I was expecting tat!) - had it a few weeks now and quality seems very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend.

I have wait before leaving a review, just wanted to be sure that it doesn't broke in a few days... and it didn't!have made my life in the office much more easier, as I don't have any more to look for the badge open an electronic door s(there are a few in my department or every time that I have to use the printers! It is resistent, it sirvived several time when it was trapped in a chair somewhere else and I moved fast or stand up! the cable is long enought to make easy to activate the sensor with your badge also when you cant get very close (for example tursnille...) Try it and you will not be disappointed!

Had an issue with my purchase but the guys who sold this were more than happy to help with speedy responses, had no issues with the replacement!
