Set of 2 Front Hood Lift Supports Struts Shocks Eeplacement for Porsche 911 2006-2013 Boxster 2005-2012 Cayman 2006-2012

These are fantastic replacements for the original struts. They were very easy to install and so far work great. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking for a simple money saving option. Took me 5 minutes to do.

The product was easy to install and works very well.

I purchased these as replacements for the front trunk struts on my 2006 Porsche Boxster S. These were a perfect fit and provided much needed lift and holding power versus the original ones that had worn out. The installation was a bit fiddly but after following instructions on several YouTube videos, I was able to complete it quickly. Eight months after installation, they're still working perfectly, and I have no fear of the lid coming down on my head anymore.

No problem, OEM replacement at 1/4 the cost.

Very easy to install. Once you figure out It only takes 5 minutes to take out the old ones and replace with the new ones. There is a metal clip on each end of the strut that locks the strut on to the top and bottom anchor point. The key is to ply the clip up slightly ( toward the end of the strut) so it would easily slide off the anchor point.)

Same product direct from Porsche is ridiculously expensive. These after market are just as good, been installed for 4 years without a problem.

Easy install. Solved the problem of weak struts. The only negative is they are a little too powerful. The hood lifts too quickly. The work around is to keep a hand on the hood as it lifts. I imagine time will balance it out. Then all good.
