Cap Barbell LAT Pull Machine Bar with Revolving Hanger, 48"

I ordered this bar for my husband to use for our Bowflex gym system. It WAS NOT intended for the Bowflex home gym, but the shipping was so dang expensive! We thought we would try this out and see if it would work.... It worked out great! It's about as light weight as your going to get unless you go with the hollow one and then the price jumps way up. We received it within 2 days, no problems. I read some people received used products but ours was new and there were no dings or scratches on it. I'm happy we went with this one. I will buy from this company again for other attachments in the future.

Arrived in bubble wrap but wasn't completely wrapped so one of the rubber end caps was missing. I ended up unscrewing the other side to make both sides the same. It also arrived with rust on it where it hooks up to the cable. This was a pretty big disappointment and I would have sent it back if it wasn't a pain to package for shipping. I would not order this again and I would not recommend it to a friend. Spend a couple more bucks on a quality bar, this one will disappoint you.

I would’ve chosen “used” since that’s an option if I wanted a rusty bar.It came looking so dirty with grease stains and really rusty. You can see through the pinhole how the inside is completely orange and rusted. After a couple days, it continues to drop rust debris out and orange/brown rust stains gather on the bar. I’m returning and buying another brand.

This wide pulldown bar is super heavy duty and not some flimsy cheap bar for the home, this is real gym quality and for an outstanding price, it dont get any better that this, it came wrapped extremely well, actually took me a while with a knife and a scissor to even get the thick plastic wrapping and paper and tape off, highly, highly recommend for a real gym or if you have a homegym cable station or pulldown macine at home!!!

Good, solid bar. It's fairly heavy itself, so I do need to compensate by adding an extra 10lbs or so to the weight stack, but no big deal there.Other reviewers have had problems with the ends coming off, or some paint or something coming off on their hands. I've had no such issues. (Note--I don't think there's any paint on the bar--it looks like a standard steel bar with chrome plating to me)I like that the hanger is fixed in the middle of the bar (no lateral movement) but it does swivel. I also like how wide the bar goes to provide plenty of grip options. Very happy with this purchase.

Outstanding product for $30. Extremely heavy duty. Good knurling on the handles (will need gloves, wraps, or chalk as the knurling is thick). Extremely well packaged, had to get a utility knife and scissors to open it. The handles revolves freely (is a little squeaky but I'm sure some WD-40 would quiet it). As well made as any wide grip lat bar I've used in any commercial gym. It's a great addition to my home gym and far superior the hollow lat bars that come with BodySolid or PowerTec pulldown machines.Would highly recommend this. For $30 plus free Prime shipping you just can't beat it. I got it within two days.

I use this bar with the ARCHON Single Pulley Cable Station which I hang from a pull up bar. The pulley and bar combination works perfectly for doing lat pulldowns at home without the need of a big, expensive cable machine. I believe whoever is packing the bars has read the reviews that complain about the insufficient packing. My bar arrived in perfect condition, wrapped in about 1/8" of plastic wrap inside a box packed with paper. Nothing was going to damage this bar which is already solid metal. You could probably lift a car with this bar if you leveraged it right.

No hollow core here! Heavy duty bar, good width, good knurling, and solid metal loop for cable attachments. Great price for a product that will last forever. I don't even have a cable machine, I picked this up to use with resistance bands and its working great.
