This floating double (C) shelf is very well made by one of the top manufacturers in the country, WingIts. The shelf is 2" thick and made out of hardwood and a high quality white Italian MICA laminate. Doesn't scratch easily and is super simple to clean. No assembly necessary, it comes as a C shelf, and is one solid unit. This is high quality craftsmanship! BEDROOM: This double floating shelf works very well as a modern and contemporary bedside shelf replacing the bulky nightstand or night table. It takes up less space, floats on the wall and sits flush against it, creating a very contemporary and modern look to your bedroom. Bad choice for DIY-ers/read the fine print
I should have noticed, prior to purchasing, that mounting hardware is not included, but I did not, and I take responsibility for that. (Which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1.) I also did not notice that the ‘expert installation’ price is FOUR times the price of the item. If I had been attentive to that, I might have concluded that it isn’t something that I can hang myself. These floating nightstands are heavy (11lbs) and the only means that I can see to attach it to a wall are the 4 small nail sized holes in the panel on the back. I have successfully hung floating shelves, and the larger ones have long rods which extend almost all the way into the shelf to ensure it is secure. My layman mind can’t fathom how this could safely stay on the wall. I just reread the blurb about it, should I know what part of it is the ‘cleat?’ I will say though that they are nice and sleek looking, as they sit on my closet floor. So unless you work in the construction biz or regularly participating in barn raisings, I would not recommend this product. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging, so I can’t return them. Maybe I’ll try Kohl’s? But I will probably end up throwing them out.

Sturdy
I painted mine! We figured out to install them since there were no instructions. There is a screw on the back, it has to come off for the back piece to also come off with a little bit of force then that piece goes into the wall with 4 screws that you can buy at a hardware store and last you install the c piece onto the square piece that you put on the wall and put the screw back where it was. (That screw goes in the bottom) they are strong and sturdy just make sure to drill them correctly. I give it a 4 for not including instructions and hardware, this made us struggle a little bit trying to figure it out.. I also found these cheaper later on here on amazon but i had painted these already. They are good though

2 pack when ordered
Wonderful product! Very sturdy and no scratches upon arrival. They are small enough for a spare room, but large enough to sit a few items on for house guests. The customer service was also fantastic. We will order again!

Company Made Things Right
I ordered these shelves without fully reading the description. It clearly says no mounting hardware but somehow I missed that. But, the shelves also had nail heads clearly visible through the laminate top. I was sent two new ones and they are perfect. I would give 5 stars to the ones I have now but rating 4 stars since the 1st ones were not up to par.

Super disappointed
Love the style and the finish but there is cracks in the paint and damage to the corner. Would like a new set. Other than the inconvenience they appear to be adorable and minimalistic modern attractive. Perfect for a studio!
