Thorogood Men's Uniform Classics, Poromeric Oxford Non-Safety Toe Shoe

My husband has to wear a tux once a month, and also wears a ceremony type vintage officer's uniform several times a year. He needs patent leather shoes for both. When wearing earlier purchased of shoes, he would always complain that they were not comfortable and looked like clown shoes. He searched and searched and found these. I finally got him to order a pair. He LOVES these shoes and says that they are very comfortable evem when standing and wearing them for long periods of time. And they are very nice looking shoes. I went to a ceremony with him yesterday, and they looked great with his ceremony uniform. Other "officers" were asking where he found them. So I imagine that a whole lot of others will be ordered over the next couple of weeks.

These shoes are excellent quality and look fantastic. I used to buy Bates, and like others have reported, their quality is no longer what it once was, and I had to find a replacement. I wear these when the occasion calls for me to wear my full Military Service Dress Blue uniform. These shoes are perfect.

These are a great pair of shoes and are very comfortable. However, this is the second pair I am having to return. The lining inside the toe is not applied smoothly resulting in a sharp ridge inside the shoe in a visible crease outside.

The measuring was off and the tongue is too short
