JRK Sandy Soil Grass Seed Mix - 5 lbs

We had our main waterline replaced over the summer which tore up our yard pretty good. Since our house is in an area of REALLY sandy soil, I figured I'd give this seed a try due to the pro-sand description.Wowsers! This stuff sprouted up quick! I did water regularly and covered it with straw so it was started off properly but even so, I've done that with other seed in better soil and it told me to shove offI doubt this stuff is going to give me a lush, Kentucky bluegrass level covering but it did sprout in really sandy soil and so far has stayed green many months later. I'm hoping the spring cycle will kick things into heavy growth and I'll get to see if it'll really make the yard respectable.

Great product it grew in all sand soil

Solid product, grows fast. I only watered about 10-15 minutes every other day and in two weeks I saw new growth.

I live in the sandhills of NE. We haven't had hardly any rain. Most of my backyard was a huge sand pit. I put this seed on it and now most of the sand is covered in beautiful green grass. I plan on putting more of it on.

I followed the instructions and the grass is growing! New Jersey here. The area was very sandy due to it being over an area where a pool had been removed and the hole filled with a very sandy soil mix.Check images for 3 week difference.I haven't mowed the area since starting to grow. It's coming in strong I only wish it was a bit thicker. Too easy, I'll re-seed after this growth gets it's first cut. I'm extremely happy with the results. No other grass I've tried has been able to grow, so these results are actually worth 10 stars!!

I have been looking for a seed that will take in the Sandy co diction around my house. I have tried several types to no avail. This seed is reasonably priced and it works.

Nothing grew and great waste of money and time
