This is an interesting book. Provides good refernce and ideas about where to find bottles. Gives inspiration to go find buried treasures!

Bought as a gift for my husband and he said it was more informative than any of the specific bottle books he's read.

Great book for my new obsession.

This was a present for a friend of mine and he loved it. I'm personally not into the bottle thing.

Unless you enjoy reading half of the book upside down with cut off pages, I would suggest finding another book about antique bottles. The first part of the book is fine and then the other half is unreadable. Purchased as a gift and in the trash it will go.

Interesting read

As an avid bottle collector of 40 years I have many different identification books. This book was a joy to read. It contained a wealth of identification reference material with detailed pictures and diagrams.

Great book

I spend a lot of time each winter bottle diving in the Canadian Maritimes. This book is very well researched and presented! Dating old bottles can sometimes be confusing, but Dan has included timelines on different manufacturing methods to help narrow it down. I've spent a few hours lately comparing bottles in my collection to the information in the book. This is my new favorite resource book! I've just ordered two more copies for my diving buddies. Time to go diving!
