Perrigo Hydrocortisone Cream 1% Maximum Strength Anti-Itch Cream, 1 lb

First off do not listen to the negative reviews! Just don't. Some guy named Cale (Mr. one star) said it didn't have any cortisone in it. Can't miss it because it's the first review you see at the top. Foolish nonsense! My face condition only responds to steroids. My face cleared up in less than 2 days of using this product (that's quick). I'm on my 3rd day now. I have to use these topical cortisone creams just to keep my skin condition under control. Life long user of topicals like this product.Here are the other ingredients besides 1% Hydrocortisone (Inactive ingredients: aloe vera gel, ceteareth-20, cetearyl alcohol, cety palmitate, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, isostearyl neopentanoate, methylparaben, purified water).Here's the good stuff you should know:1. Larger size saves you $2. This is a cream NOT an ointment so my face isn't oily or greasy all day long. Just soft and smooth.3. I have a severe dermatological issues that only hydrocortisone cream or oral prednisone helps clear up and this product works on my face. I haven't taken any oral meds in a few weeks now.4. I used this cream for only 3 days (not very long) and my face is totally clear now. No redness, dryness, pimples, pustules, cracking or bleeding since I started using this cream. The redness, bleeding and scabbing is the worst part for me because people notice that more than the dryness and small pustules all over my face.5. I used several (many) other hydro creams from the store including the store brands and Cort 10 and this works better with less greasy feeling or oily shiny skin.6. At first it looks a little white on my face but after I rub it in a few seconds it turns clear & is absorbed into my face and no one knows I have it on. No smell and it takes the redness out of my face. I use it in the morning and and nighttime.7. I've been so embarrassed of my skin problems and used to take a lot of oral prednisone. Now that I have this large tub of topical 1% cream that really works... no more oral meds I hope.8. Take a close look at the ingredient and compare to other companies. This one has far fewer chemicals. I can't believe how many chemicals are in Cort 10. BTW, Cort 10 has bees wax, mineral oil, and petrolatum jelly in it! Why? Talk about a tacky greasy mess! You won't get that in this brand. This brand is like a smooth facial cream. Believe me I've used my fair share of facial creams trying to get rid of my skin condition. The dermatologist says it's never going away and get used to the cortisone creams. So here I am.The bad:1. The only complaint I have about this product is underneath the lid is a metallic film you must get off the tub before you can get to the cream. It's difficult to get off without using a razor blade or knife. They seal this product very well.Besides that, the product is awesome. I'm thinking of buying a couple more tubs since every time I find a product that works they stop making it or they change the formula. I hope and pray that doesn't happen to this product. I hope they read my review and say lets not follow Cort 10. I didn't get this product for free I paid $23 for it. No one pays me for my reviews but when something is this good I have to leave a review for it. I will update this review in about 6 months just to let you know it's still working or not.

This stuff really works. I bought this instead of having a prescription hydrocortisone. After a few days of applying my skin is clear of any eczema. Big bonus is it’s a big jar and you only need a small amount.

It's really good stuff, and you get so much more than the tubes. The only problem is I did get a little mold on the lid.

This was my second purchase of this product, and by far the best way to purchase hydrocortisone cream. Has no skin-numbing or anti-itch ingredients, but instead, it’s a very silky and healing light-weight cream. No sneeze-inducing perfumes either. Much, much more for your money, so instead of those .002 oz tubes that I used to pay $6 for, I get a good sized jar that lasts a matter of months. Terrific product, and a great buy for your money.

This staff works good , I was spending alot of money on buying small tubes, this comes out to be really cheap & works the same

Not sold on quality and accuracy of the strength however a good bulk price. It seems a little too much like a lotion more than a cream
