Sailor Moon is the de facto leader of the Sailor Senshi. Her civilian identity is Usagi Tsukino (serena Tsukino in the English DUB, as well as bunny in many other countries). she was the first Senshi to be awakened by the Moon cat Luna and the second Senshi to be awakened. She is the only Senshi that appears in every Episode of the anime series and every act in the manga. In all versions of the series, she referred to herself as the "Soldier of love and Justice". in the English DUB, she instead referred to herself as the champion of Justice. In the manga, she was also entitled "Soldier of mystery" by Neo-Queen Serenity. She also referred to herself as a "pretty Guardian in a Sailor suit" in the new English translation manga.
