Sturdy, easy, stylish
This is a very sturdy, easy to put together, stylish chair. The legs appear to be real wood and the top part is a hard plastic type of material. Looks much more expensive than it is.It’s an updated farmhouse style look. It took me 5 minutes to put the top and bottom part (yes, only 2 parts) together. It comes with everything to assemble.Definitely would recommend to a friend.

Wonderful appearance, easily assembled.
Kvell is a new lifestyle/design brand based in Canada. They have some innovative storage ottomans, clocks, and now these dining chairs. The chairs have a contemporary appearance that would go well in an Apple Store, or next to your Bang & Olufsen speakers, with solid beechwood legs that come attached to a metal frame which is then bolted to the all-plastic seat using four Allen screws (a power driver comes in handy here). The legs have a soft gel cushion so your wood floors remain undamaged. The seat is entirely flat and the chair is remarkably sturdy; I detected no give even when standing on it. The plastic is high quality. The white chair is entirely unblemished; on the darker color chairs, you can detect just a bit of the molding methodology in a few spots of the seat itself (and only in appearance, not in feel). The chair design best fits individuals who are 5'5" or taller. Shorter people will find their feet not reaching the floor when they sit back. The chairs are available in four colors, so you could either get all one color or just mix them up as they all go well together. These are comfortable, though some might want either a cushion or a more fitted seat - as usual with chairs, everyone will approach this a little differently. But really if you're purchasing these, it's the look that you're after, and Kvell provides that contemporary look in abundance. One final comment - one of the things I look for in dining room/kitchen chairs is whether the rear legs protrude beyond the back of the chair. They often do, and I've found that I can end up tripping over the legs because I use the chair back as a guide to where to walk. On these chairs, the legs are in the right place. No more tripping. Bravo.

Interesting and comfortable chair, but that price point...?
This is a unique and attractive dining chair. Assembly was a little tricky. The top of the chair comes assembled, but you have to screw in the four legs. It should have been an easy process--and for three of the legs it was. But the fourth leg had plastic covering the screw hole, so my husband had to take a drill to it to widen the hole. Not the end of the world, but at this price, I'm expecting perfection.Once assembled, the chair is very nice. It sits flat, holds a fair amount of weight, and is comfortable. Plus it does look cool. The price point is still a little high, though, especially considering half the chair is plastic.

Surprisingly comfortable and sturdy chair. Easy assembly.
I was a bit concerned about this chair at first because of the plastic back as I thought [1] the chair might look cheap, [2] the chair might not be sturdy enough, and [3] the chair might not be comfortable. All of my concerns, however, were misplaced. [1] Although the chair dies not look ritzy it does not look cheap, primarily because the finish on the back is not that bad and the solid wood kegs enhance tremendously the overall look of the chair. [2] The chair does seem to be very sturdy and has easily withstood the weight of two different people, each weighing over 250 pounds, who sat in it for over 2 hours each without any difficulties. [3] Every one of the half dozen people who have used the chair exclaimed that it was way more comfortable than its predecessor, a standard armless high back wooden kitchen chair. Assembly was very simple and only took a couple of minutes; all necessary parts, along with an Allen wrench, were included and in a bag attached to one of the chair legs. Assembly instructions are contained on the Kvell hang tag attached to an arm of the chair. I only needed one of these chairs but I would not hesitate to purchase a second one should the need arise.

Lightweight, comfortable, stylish chair
You’ll love this chair, I think! It takes minutes to assemble and is so easy, a tween could do it. It reminds me of a captain’s chair but is lightweight. I’m using it for a backup chair; otherwise, as my picture shows, I have it as an accent piece. I like this chair and if you’re looking for a set or just one or two for extra seating, this Kvell chair should please you.

We really like this Kvell Kaptain Dining chair. The chair is well made and sturdy. The chair requires some assembly. It is very easy to assemble with easy directions. Everything you need to assemble the chair is included. The chair is comfortable even without any cushions. I like the color and design. Really I like everything about this chair.

Clean, modern lines--looks perfect in my home
This chair is really simple to assemble. You just screw the legs into the bottom of the plastic chair in pre-fab hardware. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble it. The first thing I noticed is that the white plastic chair attracts dust--just in the time I was assembling it, it picked up dust from the floor. I hope this is because it just was removed from its packaging! It is pretty comfortable and seems sturdy. I think anyone who likes the clean, modern design of the chair will really like it.
