Work well for my application. Don't bristles have come loose during use and bristles not perfectly even for exacting work. But if you just need base painting on the cheap, these will do fine.

These work great for painting, applying chemicals like wood preservative, etc. They’re going to lose a few bristles and are uneven at the ends so I wouldn’t use when appearance really matters. But- they’re cheap and just throw them away when done using them.

Malas

Got them last year and never started the project. Now using them to stain many fence panels. I can only do 3 hours at a time, and it's a relief to toss them instead of having to wash them. Others say the bristles shed, but I haven't had that experience. Going to try wrapping them after use in saran to see if I can get double duty from them. To me they are worth the cost.

Painted exterior board and batten wall of house. The 4 inch chip brushes were fine to use and not bother to clean, just throw away.
