When I received the bed I was fortunate to have a friend, who was a store manager for the "other" high end adj bed company for a long time, come over to help me set this one up. He was impressed with the quality (as was I) of the components and recognized several parts the were either the same or very close to the "other" bed. It took about an hour to set up, although his help speeded thing up. Figure an hour and a half without him. Once assembled, we filled each side and I laid down. My friend kept telling me that I would be comfortable at about midway (I have serious slipped vertebrae in my back...FIRM is what I wanted...I thought) When I told him to stop, that I was very comfortable, he showed me the remote...it read 28. That's out of 50 max. Color me surprised.Over the next few weeks, I experimented with different settings, but always came back to 28-30. The quality of the components is second to none. The pump is reasonably quiet...I did put a piece of hard rubber mat under it, anyway. I labeled the remotes for easy left to right identification. Standard bedding fits perfectly. I have not noticed any loss of air in the chambers.After a month or so, the pump stopped working on a Saturday night. Sunday am I sent a message via Amazon "Contact Seller". To my amazement, a few hours later (on Sunday) I received a reply saying the were very sorry and would get a new pump out right away. Over the next two days, I received phone calls from the reseller and the manufacturer keeping me abreast of the progress of getting me the replacement and offering work a rounds to pumping the bed up. THIS IS FIRST CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE. they selected a warehouse closest to me to reduce shipping time! It is due to arrive today. They are supplying a return shipping label in the box to ship the defective pump back. I couldn't ask for better service. The level of their concern was amazing and heart felt. I highly recommend this bed and this retailer.Will update once I install the new pump...snap on two hoses, plug in the remotes and plug in to electrical outlet. 2 minutes max.UPDATEReceived the new pump, sent 2 day. Worked great. It is very rare to find a company that cares enough about their product and company image to handle issues quickly AND follow up with their customer. This is one of those companies. Congratulations!

More back pain with this mattress than our old worn one. Would definitely NOT recommend

Great product (so far) have slept on girlfriends sleep # bed. Decided to get this one for my house. Just as good, little bit firmer (which I like). They have assembly videos on their website, not very good. Latest product I just got had different connectors, rails etc.. But I will say that customer service over the phone was excellent. But there are no directions that come with the bed at all. Took me about 2 hours to assemble by myself, but I am very handy and work on equipment for a living.

An Innomax air bed purchased through Sam's Club back in 2010 finally needed to be replaced. According to the tag and the seller's description, the new mattress was the same model. I called Innomax prior to purchasing to ask a few questions. When I read the product description to them, they said the seller must be using information from an older product that they no longer sell. I was told they no longer use a damask fabric on any of their air beds and haven't for many years. They said they have also changed to a different air pump. I decided to go ahead with the purchase because of our previous good experience with the company. The mattress we received has a knit cover, not damask. The pump was different but appears to be an upgrade, with wireless controllers for inflating and deflating. This model is very quiet, which was not the case with the pump for the old mattress. We had a 3 inch medium density latex topper that we moved from the old mattress to the new one, so I can't really speak to the comfort of the mattress without that. We did not purchase a new box spring, as Innomax said if we had purchased their box spring for the previous mattress we did not need to replace it. We have had the mattress for a little over a month and are pleased with it, but be aware that the description of the mattress is not accurate.

I bought this mattress after having slept on a select comfort for 17 years. I have had this bed for about a month now. It arrived within the time specified by the seller but barely. I had to ride the Seller to make sure it shipped so I got it in time. Seller does not have this mattress in stock but calls Innomax and has them ship it to you. Had I known, I would have ordered it directly from Innomax myself.That being said I would highly recommend the mattress. According to Innomax they use a Kevlar mattress cover rather than flame retardants. This is probably why there is a breakin period for the mattress cover to conform to your body. It has loosened some the last month and feeling more plush. Set up was easy and quality is superior to sleep number.Although it has adjustments from 50 (maximum fill) to zero, I had to go down to 20 to get the air level where I wanted it. It still seems very full and somewhat firm but I sleep better than ever so I can't complain. If you're looking for a quality air mattress at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong with this one.

Assembly is mostly intuitive and easy. May be just us but we found it much more comfortable after removing the charcoal grey foam layer. With the extra foam layer in place, the mattress looked and felt overstuffed.
