These transcriptions have a perfect blend of baroque feel with electric guitar flash
These transcriptions have a perfect blend of baroque feel with electric guitar flash; fun, exciting and beautiful, but in a way that might be too challenging for some people.

Author should first learn to play guitar himself
While I am sure the author had some good intentions, this book looks like to me that the author found the tabs somewhere and then he tried to play them so he can sell it as a book. Not only he really plays horrible to my ears, also there are no song analysis or a short description neither. Some bad printed tabs and someone who tries to play them in CD with a bad tone. I felt ripped.

awesome
This book contains 6 of Bach's organ and violin works arranged for guitar written in tab and standard notation. Some of the pieces are quite demanding which is to be expected, but some are not too difficult. Most are full transcriptions but not all, half of which are to be played clean and the other distorted, though this is a personal preference. If you're good at your scales then go for it.Bear in mind this book is written for electric guitar, so you need an electric guitar or an acoustic with a cutaway up to the 22nd fret to play it.

Do not waste your money
Do not waste your money. 3 out of the 5 pieces in this book is played on an electric with a clean sound. So you might just as well play them on an acoustic guitar. There are no backing tracks on the cd and the playing itself on the cd is awfull. Not to mention that the guitars are out of tune.
