Bought a house that didn’t come with these and has to patch holes in the walls from door knobs. I recommend pre-drilling the holes with a smaller drill bit first then screwing them in. Split the wood on one of my base boards at first because I was being lazy and didn’t want to get out the drill. Regardless, they are so easy to install and look great too. Most importantly, there is no more holes in the walls because they are long enough finally to prevent the door knob from hitting the wall. Highly recommend.

Good price, as we were replacing all of the door stops in our house. Some had what looked like small burnt spots on them, but overall we are pleased with them.

This will work great for you, unless you have a child under 6.... my two year old has now pulled off two, "playing and having fun". Another child constantly tugs at it.But, it does help when attached....

The first thing you will see when you get them will be the warning label on the package. Warning that this product as some concerns you need to be awhere of, so read them and decide if you are concerned, if so contact amazon and they will take them back. I believe it has to do with the plating/chemical process that if you were to be handling the product and not washing your hands before you eat you may be exposing yourself to some chemical that you may be senitive too. But not sure if you do not touch it or a little kid to put it in their mouth you would have any concerns about using it.The product is very easy to install and in my case I was just replacing some, where the plating was rusting or the rubber cap was gone. So all I had to do was to twist the old one off and twist the new one on. I did not need to screw the new base, I could leave the old base on the wall and just twist on the new door stopper. A 20 Second job!! how easy was that !!!

They are easy to install and work great. I installed 15 in my new house.

The media could not be loaded.  Most people buy these as door stoppers, and I’m sure they work well for that. Our use was...non-traditional. We bought our cats a cat wheel and wanted to find a way to get them to use it when we weren’t around. So we attached one to the wall and hung the cat toy from it, and both our cats use the wheel daily. As someone who is NOT handy, they are VERY easy to install! Just screw the base to the wall and then twist the spring into a hole in the base. Easy as pie!
