I've spent quite a while trying to pick out smart plugs. There are so many of them. Finally I bought these and I've been very happy with them. They are excellent!The design is beautiful! It's very minimalistic and clean looking with no logos at all, which I really like. It's small enough not to cause problems with UK style power switches that have ON/OFF buttons next to them.Functionality is great! It was very easy to setup. You can scan the barcode found in the manual to download the app, but I would instead recommend you just go to Google Play and download the "Smart Life", it's the same one and you're more likely to get updates from Google Play. As for features, it's got pretty much everything I need:Normal On/OffA flexible schedulerTimer - Can be used to turn on at a given time, or if it's on, then turn it off at a given time.Finally, for those of you wondering, yes, this does have an energy monitoring functionality. It works really well!The app works over Wi-Fi as well as Cellular networks so you can control the plugs from anywhere.The only thing I wish is that the energy monitor also displayed Wh and Ah measurements, but that's pretty much it.Excellent plugs, highly recommended!

These things simply do what tech products should (but often don't). Very easy to set up via Smartlife app and skill. Alexa recognises them at once and they can be controlled from phone or with voice. Almost of equal importance the plug is small and doesn't block other plugs or overlap any socket mounted switches. Using these plugs is limited to ON or OFF only, no timers or other gizmos are available, I don't need them!I now have 4 plugs in everyday use, 2 of which I have had for at least 9 months without any problems.

I have bought a few of these after trying out a sample purchase. Quite compact and straight forward to connect to a wireless network and also stable with a good range. There is a slight interference between the on/off switch of a socket when plugged in but if the socket switch is in the 'on' position it's absolutely fine (you would want the socket switched on anyway!). Alexa control also works well! I have taken away one star because one of the plugs needed reconnection to my network, but overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

I bought these for myself and my parents. The instructions are relatively simple to understand but it takes a lot of time to setup and sync as the app is not very clear and user friendly. I was unable to set up my parents manually or automatically via the app so they cant have one. Mine however, after around 20 mins of messing about managed to sync and works perfectly and have no issues using it since setting up. Would recommend if you have a newish smart phone...

Really easy to install on Google home. Instructions only included installation on Alexa, but so straight forward instructions weren't needed. Will definitely look at purchasing more of these smart plugs. Unlike other reviews on here I had no trouble plugging my lamps into the smart plug. These are a really good size as you can put 2 side by side on the double wall sockets. There is a little power button on the left hand side to show when the plug is on. It illuminates Blue. So far good value for money, but only time will tell.

I bought two of these because I had bought two (more expensive) plugs and was having nothing but trouble with them in setting up and dropping out. I found these easy to set up and have had no problems with them to date. Easy to add into smart life app( I have other another plug already set up with smart life app). Again, easy to incorporate into my Google home. I use them for lighting and tv. I havn't tried them with IFTTT but wouldn't expect any problems. I would buy them again.

Product looks good and works with either it's own app or Alexa. However I have been unable to get it to connect. It only works with 2.4ghz, which I knew, my BT Smart hub 2 uses both 2.4 and 5 ghz as one solution suggested by BT is to turn off 5ghz but devices would still not connect. With Smart hub 2 you cannot add separate SSIDs to each frequency - another recommended solution. Reluctantly having to return.

As long as you have your phone connected to a 2.4ghz wifi connection these are an absolute breeze to install. I originally bought them for a couple of hard to reach sockets. They were so good that I bought another pack and a couple of Google Home Minis to control them properly!They work well in switched outlets, i did find it a little tight in an extension lead but that's not the product's fault
