These boxes are the sturdiest boxes I have ever purchased and, as someone who has moved three times in the past 10 years and is packing for her fourth move, I can attest to their sturdiness. I would never buy single wall bankers boxes again. The double wall on all four sides adds a good amount of strength. They are very easy to assemble, although you need to be a bit careful folding down the bottom so that you don't end up bending one of the sides. The covers are a nice tight fit. A small concern is that when you put the tops together, sometimes the tabs do not catch properly. It does not happen often, so is only a minor nuisance. Also, I wish that they were not so expensive. On the other hand, as long as they are treated properly they will outlast any other box. I wish that the covers would be redesigned so that they also were double thickness. They often end up sagging a bit in the middle and a double wall would eliminate that.

The boxes were ordered to pack books. They were easy to assemble. They are sturdy, holding shape and structure even though full of books. The openings for handles make it easier to move the boxes.

This type of Bankers Box is really good quality. I purchased them to assist me with a move but plan to use them for long term for files. They are very well constructed so easily hold heavy weights like books.

Excellent product

These are being used to store a massive Nat Geo collection. I can fit 4 years in each box (with the leather cases). They end up weighing around 50lbs each. With the previous boxes file boxes I used I had to secure the bottom with duct tape as they simply weren't strong enough to hold all that.The assembly is also a lot quicker than the ones I've used in the past since the bottom is almost fully assembled (you just kinda pop it open & slide down one flap & the bottom is done - you then put down 4 more flaps for the sides). The lid flap that tucks into the handles is also a great feature.

As described in the picture, the paper is thick, the box is large, and the installation is very convenient. If you buy it and plan to put the files, you will see the bigger one when you come back! The child used it as her snack box.

These are the heavy-duty boxes. After folding you end up with 3 layers of corrugated cardboard on all sides. I use them for travel and extended resort/urban camping. Having a uniform and sturdy and modular system for packing your stuff really makes life easier when working from temporary quarters. They can be easily folded back down when not needed and re-used. I've stacked/taped them and draped cloth over to make impromptu tables in short-term rentals. Pro Tip: Flexible plastic cutting boards, sold at Wal-Mart, fit perfectly in the bottom for spill/moisture resistance for carrying food/cooking supplies.

I use this brand of bankers boxes all the time & usually buy in large quantities. However, this product was listed incorrectly & I thought I was getting a case lot of boxes for $18.06 (ad said save over $100) but sadly I paid $18.06 plus tax for one box that arrived damaged! I will no longer purchase these boxes from Amazon.
