KRYPTONIC ROUTE 65mm 83a BLUE

I ordered these wheels when they were on sale & was super excited to find such a good deal. They are advertised as a 78A durometer in the title & description but the wheels that I received are an 83A durometer. I wanted to use these for outdoor quad skating but 83A is too hard for my needs. I'm extremely disappointed in this purchase & the false advertising and will be contacting Amazon. I only ordered these online because I had a gift card & spotted the sales price; now I will most likely take my business to a local skate shop where I know I'll get exactly what I'm looking for.ETA: After doing some research, I found that the Kryptonics' Route wheels, which used to be 78A, are now 83A across the board, whereas the  Kryptonic Cruise 65mm 78A Skateboard Wheels, Blue  with a similar design/price point are 78A. After contacting Amazon and explaining the situation they were able to offer me a refund & return as well as allowing me to order the Cruise wheels at the price I originally paid as a one-time exception. They have also placed the Route 65s under review so hopefully this issue will be corrected & clarified for future customers. I really appreciate Amazon's handling of the situation & look forward to trying out the Cruise wheels. That said, the gear-buying process has never been so frustrating or time-consuming as this has been and in future purchases I'll just go to my local skate/roller derby shop.

Regardless of your preferences, these really absorb the surface asperities well, and the elasticity gives good rebound factor to minimize speed loss.Each time my daughter hops onto my board, she comments on how smooth it is, like it's riding on a cloud.These are really the smoothest, lowest rolling resistance wheels I have ever had. They even beat my Gyros! Just love them!If you get the impression your board could be faster, smoother, get these.
