This is far superior to commercial chicken stock. It is much tastier. And, if you want to make it stronger, it is easy to do by simply adding more of the product to hot water. I make a lot of soups and stews and this is the best product on the market. I also use the vegetable and beef flavors.

Better than bouillon? Yes it is! I’ve used this in soups and gravies for several years and haven’t found anything nearly as good. It lends a rich chicken taste, but is never too much. I love that it’s organic and has less sodium. So, besides being tasty, it’s nutritious and healthy. Once you try it, you’ll never use any other soup/gravy base.

My wife has always preferred home cooking over restaurant and take out food. She likes :The Better Than Bouillon Chicken" to start her soups, gumbo, gravies, roasting chicken and vegetables. She has mention that she can use one heaping teaspoon vs 4 to 5 bouillon cubes to get the flavor, this cuts down on the over salty taste while it still gives flavor to the meal. She usually has someone pickup the larger jars at Costco for her, since they are cheaper than she can find on Amazon vendors sometimes. So she shops around for this product, since it is a little expensive depending on how often you use it.

Tested by stirring a tsp into a cup of hot water expecting something like chicken broth.. the flavor was hot water with a hint of onion. Added another spoonfull and the tast was more onion. Added some salt. Result - salty onion. Added a few drops of wostershire, garlic powder, celery salt and parsley. Onion was still dominant but overall flavor not great but not bad, either.Since the labels on these two jars get destroyed when the tape holding them together is pulled off. I doubt I can return the unopened one. Maybe my dogs will like it.

I wanted a lower salt version of my usual bouillon cubes hopefully with the same flavor- the taste of this soup doesn’t equal the soothing flavor but though less salty, it tasted very much like Campbell soup broth- I think it’s adequate for cooking, but not for sipping as s beverage .

I love the product and use it all the time. Costco no longer carries it. I used Amazon and though the delivery was on time and very well packed, the price is obscene. Tough to be held over a barrel for something you really like and use.

Since discovering this product, it is all I use. My husband hasn’t converted, he still uses the boxed broth. Maybe he will come around. I love that from an environmental standpoint, I recycle the glass when I finish using the contents. Highly recommend!

This is easy to use an very tasty. We use it for gumbo, Asian dishes, soups, and tonite it will make the broth for a chicken pot pie. I order it often.
