All the basics
I bought one of these kits before for an SKS, but it didn't come with the right caliber bore brush. This kit is better quality, albeit the contents are the same but you get the bonus swabs and a better quality case. The case is thicker and the snaps are better attached. The cleaning rod is heat treated in a way to inhibit rust. The brushes are pretty much standard for the 5.56/.223 AR platform. The oil bottle that so many complain about not having oil in it seems to have a decent seal, my other kit has yet to leak. You also get some patches, a double ended brush and swabs. So for $10.99 you get a fairly nice basic field cleaning kit for your rifle that includes all the necessary items one would need to clean and maintain their firearm in the field, minus the oil in which is user supplied.

Great field cleaning kit
Other that the handle being a little finicky this worked great while on deployment. I did swap out the gun oil for a dry lube but I'm working in a desert right now. It came with clips that I was easily able to secure to my gear.

Nice little kit to have.
What I liked about this kit was that it wasn't bulky. Every item that I needed fit and was available in this kit. There isn't too much to say other than I'm very satisfied with this product. Thank you very much

Works but not great quality
This is a field cleaning kit, to that purpose it works. Not the best quality but cheap price to boot

The threaded steel rod sections go together easily and can take some abuse. No issues after using several times.

I have a universal kit for all my guns but I wanted something simple to throw on my rifle back for my AR. The tools fit well in the packaging and the clip seems pretty secure. Gets the job done and it's a perfect portable system for my rifle.

If you’ve been in the armed forces, you’ll understand. It is functional and it gets the job done. If fancy colors and comfortably are things you’re looking for then this might not be the product for you. If you’re looking for portability and functionally then you’ve found the right one.
