Surprisingly the taste is great considering it is a health herb.

I use this as a protein powder blended with 3 others. This has exceptional nutritional value and has the ability to bind with heavy metals and excrete them from the body as does the Mexican herb cilantro. I have bought this for several months and plan to buy more next month.

Super Organics Chlorella has done a process to crack the cell walls so the vitamins are bio-available (are able to be in a form that can be absorbed into the human body). This is high quality chlorella with a dark green color and a strong flavor. One teaspoon is considered a serving. Be careful when measuring as this is strong flavored and too much gives a too-strong flavor, we learned this the hard way when we slipped on measuring into a smoothie. From my research I learned eating this raw is necessary so I am not baking with it. We are using in smoothies and are still experimenting with which fruits to combine it with so as to mask the flavor of the algae as best we can. It tastes like grass. There is not a fishy taste (this is not kelp). Chlorella is a superfood which is in trend right now. I also plan to use this as a soap colorant when making cold process soap from scratch. Rating 4 stars = Like It as it is a high quality product.

This chlorella tastes horrible!! I've been taking chlorella for years, and I know what it should taste like. This product tastes nothing what high-quality organic chlorella should taste it. It tastes like saw meal. I am really disappointed and will try to get my money back!

Very fresh product. When added to morning smoothie, there was not telltale sign of any fishy flavor.

This powder is so-so. It's very messy and hard to get out of the bag, like a lot of similar products. The taste is ok if you use it in savory things, like a stir fry, but it's pretty gross combined with something sweet, like a smoothie. I like that it is rich in B12, so if you're looking for a savory source of that, this is a good option.
