Chia Donkey Handmade Decorative Planter, 1 Kit

I bought this as a gift for a person who collects donkeys. I think it is cute, and it will be something nice to add to the collection.

Great little chia pet. My only complaint is that the ears broke off. If you buy this, just be extra careful with it.

I really like the concept of Chia Donkey. It's a cute little pot. There were plenty of seeds in the package and they sprouted quite quickly.I do have a couple of small issues with this which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. The placement of the hole for watering was back a little farther on the head than I would like. Because of this, the sprouts will not go on the top of Donkeys head like they appear in the picture. They will go up to the top of the back but not actually crest over and give him a "normal" hairline. He looks a little bit like he has a touch of male pattern baldness.The second issue is that the terra cotta leaks water quite quickly so make sure you have something under it, otherwise you'll have a constant flood on whatever surface you set this on. The problem with the leaking is that you have to refill this 2-3 times a day to keep it full. If it is not kept full, the seeds dry out at the top and you won't have a full "head" of hair, furthering Donkey's receding hairline.Otherwise, it's a cute concept and fun for kids.

Birthday present for a 7 year old boy who loves digging in dirt and planting things. He loved it. Glad we got them for such a great price.
