Firstly the good news - this is an authentic Thai long grain jasmine rice with a great flavour. It is very expensive so should be saved for Thai dinner parties (when allowed again) or special occasions.However the packaging is awful - flimsy and my package was delivered damaged and leaking rice as you can see from the photos. The outer cardboard parcel was fine which suggests the rice was packed like this at despatch rather than damaged in transit. Furthermore the plastic window on the brown paper package had come away (probably not sealed properly as there were no tears).In any case Wholefood Earth need to look at their packaging standards; if you going to charge premium price for organic products then you have to ensure that they are delivered in acceptable ethical packaging. A thicker brown paper would have done the job better than the thin brown paper and thin plastic window (it was the plastic window which had not sealed with the brown paper properly which caused the leak - it had come clean away with no tear.

Only likes here.I have eaten this fragrant jasmine rice from Wholefoods Earth for quite a long time.It is the nicest rice I have ever tasted always and always a pleasure to eat.The packaging has a good seal and reusable for storing other foods really air tight, another bonus for free.Their customer service can only be described as excellent.Thank you for the safe packaging of my rice it shows the respect you have for your products.
