What's the difference between this one and the makita dc18rc?

The item description and answer above is misleading. The DC18SD is the standard charger without the cooling fan that comes with kits. The DC18RC is the rapid charger that is wrongly described here. The rapid charger has a cooling fan to cool the battery in order to charge it more rapidly. As quoted from another seller’s website, “ Versatile and compact, the Makita DC18SD 7.2V to 18V NiMH/Li-Ion standard battery charger can charge a 1.5Ah battery in 30 minutes and a 5.0Ah battery in 110 minutes.” Buy the DC18RC.
