Unless your parents are boomers I wouldn’t get this one. There are questions only people born in that era lived through and can answer. If you’re looking for one that’s not expensive to gift to a boomer I definitely recommend this one. Otherwise find a different one.

A lovely family memento. Perfect to learn about the true thoughts of family members. This is the second one I have bought,the first being one for my grandfather and not only did he love having something to do and reminisce over his memories, it was priceless to have once he passed away.

I gave this to my daughter-in-law who gave it to her dad for mother's day. I hope to read snippets some day.Any dad or grandpa can create a priceless treasure as part of his legacy. 💙

I love everything about the book: size, quality of construction, decor, questions to respond to!

I like how the book is hardcover and it arrived very quickly. The pages are very neat and the questions are sometimes too specific. For example, one question asks "What was it like when you built your first snowman?" Well my dad never lived in a place with snow. It would have been better to pose a question like "What was your favorite winter activity?" Also, while I think it is neat how they made each question coincide with a day of the year, I don't want my dad to finish this book in one year; I'd like it if he would take his time with it and finish it at his own pace. While this is a nice book, I think "A Father's Legacy" by Thomas Nelson is a better father journal book.

Unbelievable how much we don't know about our parents, grandparents, etc.! I have thoroughly enjoyed every single minute I've spent with my Dad while asking these questions, and recording his responses. He lights up every time he gets into a story of years gone by. The questions in this book reach beyond, and bring up nooks and crannies of his life that I would never have thought to ask. The memories he is sharing with me would have otherwise been lost when he's gone, and our bonding has been priceless! Everyone needs to buy this book and get to asking while you still can. If it's too late for you and your Dad ... then do it for your own children. This is also the best price I've found!

Dad was excited. Not sure if he used it yet though. Some interesting questions and some not, but he can just change then if he wants.

I bought this as a Fathers Day gift and he couldn't be more pleased! He writes on one prompt daily and it has brought so much joy to all of us as a family! I couldn't recommend this product more!
