EskimoHand Auger with Dual Flat Blades, 6 - 8 Inch

This is my first ice auger, and yesterday my first time ice fishing, so I don't have a basis to compare to other products, but I will say this worked better and easier than I expected. We had perhaps 6" of solid, clear, hard ice, and this chewed through it almost effortlessly, made a nice clean hole, and pulled the shavings up out of the hole while you turn it, so you can kick them aside and don't have to fish them out of the hole. Now, if there had only been fish there yesterday...

Very good at first but the blade dull mid way though the season.

Great auger for the $$. After using an older one for a couple years I had no idea what I was missing. This auger makes fast work of cutting holes. My kids can make holes with only a break or two through 12"+ ice.

Pretty decent. I feel the blade is already starting to dull after only ice fishing a few times. Does the job but will spend the extra for a nicer one next time.

I got this Auger for my boyfriend for Christmas, he loves to fish (never went ice fishing) and I wanted to get him something different. I got him this and some other things to get him started ice fishing. He has been so excited to use them and recently he went up to Maine and was able to! I was worried that it would be exhausting to even complete one hole but that wasn't the case. He ended up drilling about 6 hole haha. He said it was a lot easier than expected. Also he is a very tall guy, and he says the Auger is adjustable so it works for everyone! I'm not sure what the ice conditions was that day but I am completely satisfied with this product and it was an awesome gift.

Certainly serves its purpose! New out of the box it cuts very well. Look up proper care instructions... take care of it and it’ll cut consistently, and like butter! Much lighter than my gas auger, almost always the preference

I've never ice fished but my son wanted to try. I bought this and we used it last week to drill many holes is about 17 inches of ice in northern wisconsin. I was shocked at how easily this thing went through the ice, under a minute per hole. I found it easiest to get the hole started then put a little weight on the top of the handle with one hand while turning with the other.

Works exactly as I hoped. My 4 year old used it too.

Appears to be well made. This is the second eskimo auger I have purchased, other one is a 6" which I have for 10 years now. Have not tried this one out yet but I am confident it will work just fine.

Have not used this yet but it appears to be good quality! I have already removed and added lock tight to the blade screws and highly recommend to the same so you don't loose your blades!!
