I shopped for a good while before choosing this product. I was particularly nervous about similar products that looked like hammocks which caused your feet to slide together. This product has a stiff board-like landing pad for your feet, allowing you to place them so that your knees are bent, allowing for pressure to be taken off your back. One criticism is that although this was supposed to be "memory foam," it felt like pretty standard foam to me. Nonetheless, it's light weight and portability will make it on my carry-on for all trips over a couple of hours.

This footrest was great on my recent flights. My feet and legs are much more comfortable raised up and I liked being able to press them against this firm footrest. I am tall, so my feet were not out in front of me like the photo, but rather my knees were bent and my feet were resting flat on the platform. It was also able to swing to slightly different positions, which I liked doing every so often.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia. I was scared to take a plane ride for any amount of time. ThisFootrest was super easy to set up and was an instant relief. It took the pressure off my legs that usually turns into extreme pain after a short time. My back didn’t hurt from staying in one position. I was able to shift around and change my position with my legs not hanging straight down. Everyone who saw my footrest asked me where I got it and if it worked. I told them all I will never fly without it again!

I can’t say one bad thing about this product. We just flew from California to Morocco and back using this foot rest. My husband and Both used these and we both thought the were comfortable and very versatile. I used it hung from the seat tray and also from the top of the seat in front of me. The hard foot rest was very comfortable. It was easy to get out of the way when reaching for under seat items by just turning it sideways and tucking it in the seat pocket for magazines. When stowed in our carry on bags it was thin and very small.I came home without the swollen foot problem. You can put your feet up high or pull the strap down for a comfortable lower foot rest. I won’t leave home without it anymore!

This is awesome. I am 5'4" and struggle with keeping my back comfortable. I am careful not to disturb my front passenger with clunking movements. But when I get my feet in? Ahhhh! Such a difference! I love that it has a flat inner board so that my ankles dont collide.

This was purchased to make a hanging wicker chair into a recliner! Works just fine!

I don't know how you would be able to reach anything under your seat or the seat in front of you with this foot hammock in place. It is quite large. Plus it takes up a lot of room in your carry on. worked well, hung over the table tray infront of me. Could use more cushion, I take my shoes off on long flights. I put a pillow on it and it worked perfect.
