Tuberose Essential Oil

I am overwhelmingly happy with this oil, and I would definitely buy it again from Amazon/Merlins' crystal cave. I went to a local apothecary who sells essential oils and was quote over $100 for the oil, so this struck me as quite a bargain, and perhaps too good to be true. Now that I have it and have tried it, it smells like real tuberose, and it is certainly fairly potent. That being said, I have two minor quibbles. The first is that I think I can smell a carrier oil, although this is not mentioned anywhere. Second, I would have liked a bottle with a dropper in the top, to make it easier to dispense. BUT... no real complaints here... great oil, terrific value, and I would definitely recommend the seller!!

I'll be honest in saying that I have no idea what a tuberose flower smells like, but this oil brings back a sort of antique sort of visage. I had a feeling, from smelling this, that this type of oil was probably used in a lot of perfumes between the 20s and 50s. (In short, if unmixed with another scent, it certainly will smell like an older woman's perfume.) It's very warm, unique, pleasant... This oil was fairly strong and powerful, great extraction of the flower! Very distinct, not at all weak. Charming.

Smaller amount than I thought it to be and nothing to help control the amount of oil drops. Smells beautiful though...

I was trying to find a tuberose perfume oil that I bought for my wife in Cambria, CA several years ago, it was wonderful and everyone asked her what she was wearing, whenever she wore it, then the company stopped making it! This product is close

I didn't expect much when I got this oil because tuberose smells just plain weird, but the price is right. If you haven't shopped around on the Internet, then have a look for it! It's crazy-expensive. Real tuberose smells like motor oil and menthol when you put it on. Everyone's tuberose is a little different.This isn't bad at all. It's got the motor oil and menthol scents, but muted. You put it on and it gradually unfurls on your skin. It smells really good.It's good mixed in a spray bottle of pure grain or artisan's alcohol with rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang.

I guess I should have realized that at this price, the product wouldn't be superior. It wasn't. There was an artificial smell that made the product only fit to mix with epson salts for the bath.

Wow, what can I say. I just received the item in the mail today. It is a small container yet it will not take but a drop. You will be amazed at the scent. It was hard to put the top back on it smells wonderful! Great item and would purchase again once I run out.
