R&M Richards Womens Plus Formal Sequined Evening Dress

I bought this dress for my daughters wedding for when I walk her down the isle. Sorry bad pics and omg my hair lol. I had to try it on and had my granddaughter snap a couple quick pics. I love this and Rhede up buying it in a smaller size in another color as well. It has a built in bra and very soft liner and it’s not heavy at all. Great quality and I love how comfortable it is. It gorgeous in person

Bought for my daughter’s Christmas wedding. I am 5’2”, 125-127 lbs. I got a 6P. I can wear a 4 in many things so I’d say size up. A 4 would have been a bit uncomfortable I think. Sleeves have no give but the dress itself has some stretch. It really was beautiful and comfortable. I was very busy that night and wore this dress the entire time, at lease six hours. If I recall, some have complained about the underarm area scratching their skin. I could see how, but it didn’t bother me at all. I got tons of compliments.

My mom was going to an event, I searched and searched online for an outfit. This was one of the first I saw, I read the reviews and was concerned about the armpit discomfort people reported. I ordered a 6, my mom is 5’6” about 127lbs. Fit like a glove, it’s alittle long but it didn’t cause her any problems. She reported there was no discomfort in the armpit area. She has slim arms, so I think if you have arms that are alittle larger that might be the issue.The detailing on the dress, stunning. The material was so soft to the touch and high quality.This dress is a STEAL FOR THE PRICE!I paired the outfit with blue and white sapphire jewelry. If you’re considering this dress, you will not regret. The best purchase I’ve made in awhile and my mom felt like a princess.

I am normally 18-20W, but this dress ran very large and even the 16W was so big I had to have it taken in at the seamstress. Definitely order at least a size down, possibly more. I am giving it 4/5 stars for the missed sizing, as well as the fact that it is VERY scratchy and irritating on the arms, and the sequins do fall off and tend to get all over everything.Otherwise, dress is gorgeous even on a plus sized woman like myself! I wore to a wedding and I felt amazing. I don't usually feel like I look good in dresses these days, but this dress made me feel beautiful. The color is exactly as pictured. Purple is my color, especially this shade. I loved the shorter sleeves. The purple sash was a great compliment. I paired this with silver shoes and evening purse. It was extremely giving, stretchy, and comfortable around the waist. Nothing was tight. Would absolutely try another dress from this company.Do note, this is a very long dress. Even with heels, I needed it hemmed. So plan for hemming unless you're tall. I'm 5'2" so I needed it shortened quit a bit.

I received so many compliments on this dress! It arrived quickly and is a beautiful lavender color with lots of sparkle. I'm short so the dress was almost 6 inches too long, but an experienced seamstress was able to hem it, even with the sequins and beading.I wore it to my son's wedding and was very pleased with the way it fit and the way it moved. When I first tried it on, I was worried it would be too heavy, but it actually felt wonderful.I paired it with a sequin belt (in lieu of the satin belt) and a silver Grey cape, both from Amazon. I loved it and am very happy I chose it for my son's special day. The only negative thing was, it was a little scratchy under the arm, but otherwise I felt it was elegant, and comfortable.I hope I have another occasion to wear it!

Part of this negative review is my own fault and I wish I could give a 3.5 star review because I'm right in the middle of how I feel about the dress.I didnt realize from the pictures, that just about the entire dress is covered in sequins. They're everywhere, even right up under the arms so they scratch at your skin with the slightest movement. With the sequins, the dress was heavier than expected and made it hotter to wear and that's not the best when you're supposed to be a guest in a summer wedding.The pros though are that the material was good quality and the inner layer that actually covers you, is soft and comfortable and stretchy so you can move and not feel stuck in a stiff outfit, and the bottom is flowy and feels nice to walk around in.

Size 145'5", 175 lbsThis dress is absolutely beautiful. It was delivered quickly, and fit perfectly. Like others who have reveiwed, I will say the sequins will irritate the insides of your upper arms. However, I barely noticed it and it was nothing that really bothered me. The dress is long, if you are on the shorter side. I wore 3 inch heels to get the right length, which was still floor length on me. I got so many compliments, it felt really nice, but the most important thing was that my son and daughter-in-law loved it.

I ordered this to wear to a wedding and it is more beautiful in person than the pictures. The colour and beading is gorgeous and it fit true to size. I got a lot of compliments on this dress. It was worth spending a little more than I normally would in a dress.

I did return this dress, but only because it was too for a, for my sons wedding. However it was beautiful. Very good quality for the price. A similar dress would have been 3x the price.

The dress is really lovely and seems to be well made. I used the size chart from the R & M Richards website and the size was spot on. There is some stretch to the fabric and the bodice has padded cups. The price was also great compared to US department store prices even on sale. Very happy with purchase.

Wow!! I can’t say enough good things about this dress!! I bought this for my mom who usually wears a size 18 US and it was a perfect fit! There was even still a little extra room but not noticeable! Fabric is amazing and looks like it should cost a lot more than what you actually payed. Great quality and Were both super impressed!

Good quality and compared to Macy's and Nordstrom found this at half the price. Lot of work and detail on the garment considering the price. Great value and fits perfectly
