NCIS - Season 14 [DVD] [2018]

Bought for the wife as she hate watching it on TV with advertising

Great stories with action, humour and pathos. Highly recommend.

Excellent viewing

Have to admit, I thought I'd really find this new series 'sub par' with the loss of the Dinozzo character.For the first three episodes, as the new characters were introduced, I feared that that was going to be the case..... and I wasn't going to be be having a 'rave' over the series.....(It was only going to 'OK' but not brilliant !)How wrong I was !Once the new characters are 'up and running'...For me the show is even better than ever. Great acting, story-lines, direction, production etc, as per usual.Been through the whole series just the once already, and looking forward to watching it over and over again....(Just like I've done with all the previous series.)If you've liked the previous series, I'd be surprised if you didn't really enjoy this new one.....Once you've got through the first 3 episodes ;-)

First I need to put a wrong right - I had an earlier review (now deleted), re: the receipt of a Region 1 set, however after further investigation, it would appear that players manufactured after 2007 can play Region 1 DVDs. My only caveat is that I successfully played these DVDs on a 2 year old BluRay player.With regard to the NCIS series & season 14, although there is now no Tony or earlier departed Ziva, the new characters shape up well and I still found myself enjoying this season through watching the evolution of them as they integrated into the team.

Order delivered within agreed timescales. Entertaining season of NCIS. DVD's run well.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this season with Tony gone, but I like the new additions to the team, and the stories continue to feel fresh and engaging. The only thing I didn't like was the crossover episode with New Orleans. I don't watch that spin off and I don't particularly like the characters there, so it felt a little too much like filler for me. That aside, the show continues to find ways to keep the viewers watching.

I love ncis great cast and show. I have all of them apart from series 18 which will buy in due course. I have spent watching one episode after another. So watchable.

It took 2 months to get (the first was lost in transit so they sent a second) . Then I found it won't play in North American DVD players. I can watch it on my computer and I love the show.

We missed Gibbs, but weren't certain we wanted to continue with NCIS after the complete demise of Ziva and Dinozzo - positive reviews encouraged me to check out season 14, and it's good to have the old gang back. Just watched 3 episodes so far, and the newbies are so-so, but glad to see Fornell and most of the old favourites are back and reliable as ever. So far the DVD plays fine and we didn't have such a long wait for delivery as we usually do, down here in Tasmania!
