We've been taking elderberry extract daily for the past 25 years. First, when it was delivered you could have knocked us out. The glass bottles were packed in molded cardboard protectors and they arrived perfect (I ordered 6 bottles). When we began taking it we quickly realized it was the best we had ever used. The taste of cinnamon added to it made our day(s) very pleasant. Great tasting.

Great quality and taste. We put a little in homemade gummies for extra immune support for our kids.

One big worry I had was shipping and leakage, but the packaging of this is impressive! I wanted a product with clean ingredients and this is perfect, no odd fillers. First taste was a good flavor and easy on my stomach. I'm very impressed so far and happy with this purchase, I am looking forward to seeing the health benefits!

This seemed like a good buy versus the 8 ounce bottle of Sambucol that I usually buy, but it is watery and contains other ingredients that Sambucol does not. Unpleasant taste, won’t buy again.

**FIRST: This has a JUICE texture, not a SYRUP. I think the brand should rename this because I see a lot of the other reviewers say they think it's watered down. I actually prefer this juice consistency much better than the thick sambuccol syrup.The flavor is strong but not bitter. I enjoy it, as an adult. I can see how kids would probably be more willing to drink this supplement compared to other syrups on the market.I appreciate that there's no chemicals or mystery ingredients in this compared to other brands (no "natural flavors" or "artificial flavors" - who really knows what that means???) Just actual food based sources like cloves and elderberries! I can't say how long it stays good in the fridge because I've been going through it pretty quickly. It's currently early winter (cold & flu season!) and I've been taking 2-3 doses a day while everyone in the other cubicles around me is coughing and sneezing all day.I take this along with many other nutritional supplements and so far I have not gotten sick this winter! Usually I end up catching the colds that just rip through the open office I work at. I think this supplement gives me the little extra immune strength I was needing. I do not think that just this product alone is enough to never get sick. You also need vitamins such as C and D for the immune system to work. But, if you're taking those and still getting the sniffles, try adding this to your regimen like I did.
