Worthless
I purchased this antenna to go with the new quad radio i just received. After the install on my car I preformed an SWR check on three of the four bands that the radio and antenna could operate on. 2 meter was 4.3 ,220 MHz was 5.4 and 440 MHz was 4.3. . It was my understanding this was a pre-tuned and ready for operation. No instruction at all, Antenna came in plastic case with a allen wrench spare set screw and a decal with the model number and operating freq on it. If the SWR would have been closer from the start I would have tried to tune it. I will be sending it back. Dave

Watch for quality issues..
I've only hat this antenna a few days and have not installed it yet. I'll update the review after I've had it a few weeks and able to fully test. But, read below for the unboxing.I received the antenna in a nicely packaged box. In the box was a sturdy tube, which housed the antenna package. Came in 2 pieces. Upon taking it out, I noticed that the top antenna portion was bent as it come out of the coil. About an inch off center at the tip. Thinking the set screws weren't even, I loosened them and removed the top antenna. Sure enough, it was bent. I was able to straighten it out and re-secure it. Given the packaging, it had to come from the factory this way. It does make me fear the quality of the rest of the product. Also, the plastic that surrounds the top coil appears to be slightly off center. I cant move it, which is good, but still.. not quality. I will use some silicone and heat shrink once it's metered in, just to ensure it is water tight.

Great performing, economical antenna
I have three of these--one on my Jeep, one on a mag mount for field work, and another with an add-on ground plane mounted in my attic, this one mainly for the 220 mhz ham band (a weekly /ARES check-in), but also for back up. The SWR is near perfect on all three bands--not to worry!

It works for me
Good value, good SWR but the STINGERS could be a thicker material, very thin, creates lots of vertical element movement that results in incoming signal fluctuation when car is moving even at low speeds / 73 KD4WDG

dual band antenna works great
it was used for Amateur Radio service. Worked great, VSWR 1.5:1 or better across the frequency range used.Antenna is pre-cut, no adjustment really possible. There is a notch in the top radiating element so that it will seat when the set screw is tightened.

Not a Diamond antenna
Not a Diamond antenna even though description and pictures both clearly state this is a Diamond antenna with the logos all over the base. Generic item arrived, looks like a cheap knockoff
