I was gifted this claw-crushing contraption under the pretense of “dinner prep,” though I remain unconvinced that crustaceans warrant such personal involvement.Nevertheless, the tool performed admirably. Strong. Sturdy. It split those armored little limbs with precision befitting a Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd. No slippage. No dramatic sprays. Just clean, decisive cracking.If one must engage with marine carnage, I suppose this is the most dignified way to do it.

Works very well. The lock latch slips into place by accident sometimes, a very minor irritation. It costs too much... but i will probably buy more as gifts.

Although somewhat pricey, the crab leg cracker tool is worth the investment! It’s well made, easy to use and hands down the best way to open blue crab claws/legs. They are neatly secured in a box for easy gift giving or home storage and promptly delivered as advertised.
