This looks and works great nice on my desk. I have spent the day revisiting my home desk as the needs for it have changed recently. I rewired all the devices I am using; and set them to permanent hidden power sources. I then used this extension socket as spare set of sockets that are easily accessible on my desk' ready when I need to connect an extra pc or other device; which saves me scrabbling around underneath.The shiny aluminium looks good; and it checked out as grounded a grounding test with my multimeter. The ethernet cable out would have been nicer as a second ethernet socket on the back rather than a fixed length of cable; the supplied cable can't quite make it to my switch. The USB sockets are not PD and not usb-c; that is where the star went.If I had one recommendation to improve this product it would be that the brackets to mount it to the desk are screwed together when shipped; and that actually adds a step to final assembly. They come assembled as C brackets and you need to partially unscrew the arms to attach them to the main base before reconstructing the c bracket - I don't have a philips screwdriver that can bend around metal.That aside they fit fine to me 2.5cm thick desk.

First, bolts the bolts that were securing the attachment feature were missing. Then I noticed that, although I was switching off the power from the dedicated off switch, the usb and sockets are still powered. But the light button light switches off, how about that?! Value for money? Forget it...

This is pretty industrial looking and the clamps don't close all the way. I had to drill two new holes to move the clamps up so they could grip the Ikea dinner table I use as a desk. It's designed for those MDF style office desks I think. Other than that it works fine so far and is defintely useful to have.

I thought that it was expensive for what it is, & that it was made in China. I would appreciate a Union Jack being added to products made in the UK

I bought this largely because it has a power switch however the switch does nothing other than turn off the light within the switch. All sockets and USB remain live when powered off.

Damaged, parts missing, electrical switch not fitted correctly or broken.
