Great playing but two disks have compromised sound quality
Lovely music, well-played by one of humanity's greatest orchestras; beautiful packaging tooBut...Two of the disks were originally recorded over early digital systems. While the vinyl format can smooth a lot of the harsh early digital sound, one can still hear the overall lesser sound quality compared to the other analog disks.Had I known that I probably still would have ordered this box set but as it is, I'll probably not play the two digital albums as much.

Wow (as in bad wow)...
So those of us that buy LPs typically are looking for the unique depth and clarity that you can't get via streaming services. On that front this collection mostly delivers. The issue is that the crafting of the LPs canals is SO badly done, that in some of the records you can't use the silent buffer at the beginning of a play. I am talking about that blank space all LPs have at the beginning of the recording where you place the needle and it plays nothing for a few seconds before the first piece begins.

Großartige Erinnerung an Wien
Was kann man sich schon aus einem Österreich-Urlaub mitbringen, an dem man wirklich lange Freude hat? Richtig! Mozartkugeln. Und wenn es etwas von wirklichem Bestand sein soll, dann ist man mit dieser Zusammenstellung wirklich gut beraten. Der Schuber ist sehr hochwertig, die Zusammenstellung ein gelungener Querschnitt durch Geschichte und Können der Wiener Philharmoniker. Also, Klassikfans: Zugreifen, bevor die Edition ausverkauft ist.

Die Interpretationen sind wirklich gelungen. Leider trübt die schlechte Klangqualität den Genuss erheblich. Ich kann es leider keinem empfehlen.
