SkechersMen's Go Walk Evolution Ultra-Impeccable Sneaker

I ordered the Skechers Go Walk Evolution (size 12 normal width) online to replace my Costco-purchased cheaper Skechers Memory Foam pair since they are no longer available at Costco. I became very fond of those Skechers since they were lightweight, breathed well, and were durable for my two daily walks. As an old retired guy (since 2005), I need daily exercise to keep my health up.Anyway, the Costco Skechers were a simpler version that I needed a hook to put on as they were a tight fit with thinner sides, but that was the way they were made. The sides were not rounded as these Skechers Go Walk pair. These cost a bit more but are well worth it since I can simply slip my feet into them without assistance and just "go walk". They don't fit as tight as the Costco ones but they still fit perfectly on my feet. No side movement or pinched toes -- I ordered the same size as the Costco pair. Still very light and breathable. I will only know about the durability after many walks in them, but they do look like they should last for some time.Side note: I read a negative review where a person faulted the shoe for the way the shoe tended to grip the walking surface. I assumed that was an old person. Almost any new shoe will do that but most wearers know this and adjust. However, we older folks (I'm very old) must be very aware of this with any new shoe because we are already prone to falls since we tend not to pick our feet up as well as younger folks, which is why we often trip and fall.Anyway, these Skechers will grip the surface very well so one will not slip easily on surfaces. That is a good thing for seniors! But they will need to be aware that they must pick up their feet to step and walk. Humans are adaptable so if I can do this at my age, I know other old folks can, too.I would recommend these to anyone who wants a lightweight, comfortable, easy-to-wear slip-on shoe. I will be ordering these again when the pair I have wears out. :)

Super lightweight and true to size.

I have been a fan of Sketchers for a couple years now. However, these Men's Go Walk Evolution Ultra-Impeccable Sneakers are, without a doubt, the best casual and walking shoes I have ever worn. For this 71 year old man, comfort means everything. I can complete my daily brisk walking routine with no discomfort of any kind. The uppers give me great fit while the cushioning is simply unbelievably comfortable and supportive. The sole is sufficiently wide enough to accommodate step variability. I'll never buy another brand. I already have the perfect walking shoe.

I've purchased this type of shoe multiple times over the years. I have to say this shoe is by far the most comfortable and the best cushion in the sole of this type of shoe. In my opinion for the price and quality and comfort this is a shoe to have.

These Sketchers are super lightweight and wonderfully comfortable. Perfect fit at Men's 8.5. Wonderful to walk in...

First, I hate wearing shoes. I am always barefoot at home. I have struggled over the years to find comfortable shoes and I LOVE these. They are the easiest shoes to FORGET that you are wearing in a good way that I have found.I am pretty flat-footed and find many shoes to be painful, but not these. They have a very soft layer of cushion inside. They do not provide much in the way of arch support if that is what you are looking for. Too much arch support can be painful for me. These are a much more cushioned and giving design. They still fit securely without any flopping around and are still immensely comfortable. Great combination.I also like that these breathe. My feet don't sweat wearing these. You can quickly slip these on. No laces or fasteners, yet they fit securely. They are available in wide sizes, which is also good for my feet. I have purchased multiple pairs of these shoes and wear them almost daily. I can get about a year out of one pair.An IMPORTANT point, though, is these shoes are not for rough or uneven ground. They are fine for the pavement, but if you try standing or walking on sloping ground you will feel your feet slipping to the side of the shoe. The canvas material does not really provide side support almost at all, so I don't wear these when working in the yard or hiking, but they are my first choice for almost any other situation where I will be walking or standing all day. Strolling or moving at a brisk walk yes, running no.Easy slip-on design. VERY breathable so your feet won't sweat. VERY soft cushion under your feet. Secure fit while being easy to forget you are wearing them. Accurate sizing.Not designed for uneven or sloping ground. Not for running. Not waterproof. Not for you if you want a lot of arch support.

My hubby is VERY particular about his shoes so I was surprised he wanted to try these Skechers shoes. He had tried others in the past and did not like them. Amazingly he loves these shoes, He wears them on the boat while fishing and we don't have to worry about them falling apart after getting wet. Also a huge plus is they came in wide width and they are cushy!

Wonderful comfortable shoes for everyday use, or for walking a lot. I would take these to Europe !
