Resulted in a nice uniform finish
I purchased this along with the Afm Safecoat Hard Seal. My husband used these products on tables we purchased recently which have a wood veneer over MDF. The hard seal worked great on the sides and bottoms to seal the MDF. The Acrylacq was used over the prefinished veneer on top. It was applied per the instructions, and resulted in a very smooth uniform finish. Applied with a 3 inch foam brush, you can't see any brush lines or evidence there was a coating applied. We chose the satin finish to eliminate shine from sun coming in thru the windows. Looks great. We've had both hot and cold glasses/mugs place directly on the tops. No rings or discoloration resulted from this. Between both products used on these tables, we no longer smell anything.

Could not be more disappointed in this product.
I have bought a lot of products on Amazon and I am sorry to say this is the worst product I have ever bought, but first let me also say I have bought Safe Coat products for years. My entire house is painted with Safe Coat's paints and I love their adhesive. However, this product was the greatest disappointment in a product I have ever bought. Not only did it make me sick, but it made others sick as well. Let me be more specific:It made my head feel like it had a tremendous pressure pushing outward. My friend told me he had a migraine the entire night after exposure.I had used it on a beautiful Larkin High Boy that was given to me. After the reaction to whatever is in the product, I put the chest of drawers outside in the garage. After waiting 2 months I went out to the garage opened one of the drawers, took one whiff and again it caused a significant pressure in my head. That's not All....After I had treated the chest of drawers with the product I used the rest of it on the bathroom cabinet. I will take responsibility for what happened to that, because I did use what was left on the bottom of the container which was very thick and thus I added just a bit of water to it. What happened to the bathroom cabinet is the wood now looks like it was painted with a chaulky substance which will not come off with a scrubby.Anyway, my Larkin appears to be ruined. I am sure there is someone who could strip it and varnish it with a good varnish but it won't be me. It still sits in the garage.

Used this on cement for a counter after reading a recommendation and the seal is not what I expected. Water on the counter discoloration the counter until it dries up completely. Wiping the counter doesn't take away the water mark.

Worst product ever
Worst product ever. Followed directions perfectly. Went on and looked amazing. But everything except water stains the surface! Now the counter tops I spent weeks building look like garbage. Don't listen to other DYI websites recommending this product. They're getting paid. It doesn't matter how much you clean, or be careful. Garbage!
