Extremely disappointed. Product came nicely packaged and I calibrated it right out of the box following the included instructions. I first tested my tap water which read around 8.2 and then when to properly adjust my watering solution for my plants using necessary buffers. I used my liquid PH tester to check accuracy and the product listed above can't drop below 7.3 or rise above 8.6 Purchased this product to make my life easier and it has only made it more difficult.

It came with dead batteries. Now understand why, even in the off position the batteries drain and die within a day. I have to keep the battery tray removed when not using the device.

Received the first one with a broken glass sensor and the replacement just read random numbers.Thank you AMAZON for removing all those 5 star reviews posted over two days and for leaving the real review on the product.

I personally love these cheap meters but you have to know how to keep them "alive". From DAY 1 you must spray before and after every use with distilled water. Before putting away, you must dry the probes and the end of the meter. Then STORE IN PH STORAGE SOLUTION (very important). Do these steps and your meter could last through multiple grows.

PH meter arrived as promised calibrated and it worked a couple days and now shows random numbers in less than a week.
