when I originally bought this book it came with a companion cassette tape which made it easier to learn the prayers too bad there isn't something similar now the people I'm gifting them to will have a slightly more difficult task ahead of them

Absolute must read for old and new Muslims alike (or anyone who simply wants to know how and why Muslims pray) The book includes a step-by-step procedure for not only the 5 mandatory prayers, but also the preparatory steps , a variety of non-obligatory but nevertheless beneficial prayers, and a handful of other useful tidbits of information. The text that needs to be recites is included in English and Arabic, with romanization of the Arabic for those who can't read the script. The book comes with a set of cassette tapes (though I purchased the book without them). This is a wonderfully informative guidebook.

Very easy to follow, and prayers can be done instantly.

The whole family uses them. Excellent source for refreshing knowledge and practice daily. I have had an original for almost 30 years.
