Awesome story for Christmas. Illustrations are nice too.

This is a real classic Christmas Story with a twist at the end. I have given many for gifts even at other times of the year. Excellent story with a real meaning at the end. Babushka is a head scarf that I grew up knowing about as I am Polish and we used that word. This little Lady who has the same name will teach your child why sharing is important and I am sure any adult or child who reads this, or gets it read to them will fall in love with the story. Worth every penny. You can find deals online so don't hesitate to look.

A gentle story, good message, sometimes humorous, beautiful illustrations. A great addition to the library. Really enjoyable christmas story book for kids and adults alike.

My four year old and I enjoy this book very much. We added this book to our Christmas collection this year and I am happy we did. The illustrations are adorable and the message classic.

We started reading Babushka after our son was born, and my [...]twin girls absolutely love this story. With a slight religious tone that's not too overwhelming, the story brings the meaning down to earth and reminds us of the importance of celebrating life, not gifts... these are some of sophie's best illustrations. We're a huge fan of her artwork.

My daughter did this as her school Christmas play, so we bought one for her (she was Mary) and one for the class. Beautiful illustrations; very appealing book.

The book is nice but I did not feel it was as true to the traditional tale as I expected and was looking for.

We read this over and over in my Reception Class, lovely illustrations too.We will use it every year at Christmas time.
